  I loved getting a bit lost here the other day and having a nice chat to the staff and another customer. Very cosy place, would definitely recommend and will be back for more second hand books

  I phoned this book exchange twice to verify it was ok to bring in 2 large boxes of good quality books which I had the option to sell elsewhere. The lady sounded positive and was keen to have them so I held back from other sale. When I got there I again checked before carrying them in. I carried the two large boxes into the store she picked over them and took six books only for $25 and I had to take them back to the car! Hardly worth the effort of breaking my back to get them in the door and missing the opportunity for the other sale. Very unhelpful and no remorse at all for conning me out of the other sale. Smiled and said Sorryyy! Maybe alright for buying a good book but maybe think twice before selling. My advice is see what she will accept before you get there. Better to go to charity! Two other book exchanges at Burleigh Heads and one at Nobby's. Much better to deal with, more helpful and honest. Happy to take good quality ,as new books as first implied by Broadbeach Books. Don't waste your time to carry them in.

  Fantastic store. Plenty of variety and atmosphere. The lady was helpful and interesting to talk to.

  Su knows almost everything about books and authors. If you're looking for something obscure, she'll be able to help. If you're looking for something not obscure, she probably has it! She has amazing resources and loves to help!

  This bookshop hasn't been on Gold Coast Hwy for about 5 years. It is in Niecon Plaza Broadbeach at the opposite end to McDonalds.
